A “Healthier" Spiked Cream Soda

Laurie and I regularly experiment with new recipe ideas. We discovered this great cocktail formula one evening when we experimented with Cheerwine cocktail recipes. Although we're still at an impasse for a great Cheerwine cocktail, we found this formula particularly delightful... without the full calorie count.

Cherry Cream Soda Cocktail

Ingredients

6 oz Diet Coke
1 1/2 oz Dark Rum
3/4 oz Amarretto
1 Amarena cherry
1 tsp Amarna cherry juice

Instructions

Add ice, Diet Coke, rum, cherry juice and amarretto to cocktail mixer.
Stir.
Pour into cocktail glass.
Top with cherry.
